Kidsfuninseoul weekend roundup – Nov. 9th, 2013

Another week past by so quickly and maybe you didn’t have time to check  our latest posts and news on Kidsfuninseoul blog and Facebook page, so here comes our regular recap!

Soyang DamWe took a boat on Chuncheon’s picturesque Soyang Dam and visited the beautiful Cheongpyeong Temple (청평사). If you are looking for some wonderful one-day trip destination you may find your inspiration here.

IMG_7321According to the weather forecast, this Sunday November 10th and the beginning of next week should be chilly but sunny. It may be the very last chance to admire the beautiful colors of the leaves. Why not taking a stroll in one of the wonderful Seoul’s Parks – for example Namsan Park, Dream Forest or the Secret Garden

Seoul Lantern Festival 2013
The Seoul Lantern Festival is still going on until November 17th. If you want to avoid the crowd you may take a walk on the Cheonggyecheon Stream in the afternoon and be in the first line to admire the lanterns when they are illuminated starting from 5pm.

All the art lovers must be thrilled about the opening of the completely new Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) in Seoul on November 13th.

If you are looking for an international kindergarden for your kids, don’t miss the ECLC International Kindergarden Open House on November 14th from 7 to 8pm.

The new moms and moms-to-be may be interested in visiting the MBC Baby and kids fair in SETEC on November 14th-~17th.

For all those who couldn’t make it to the SIWA Bazaar this week, don’t worry. There will be a European Christmas Market on November 29th~30th. And we are working hard to prepare a long list of activities to keep you warm and entertained during the pre-Christmas period.
