Are your kids crazy about dinosaurs? Do they dream about the planets and do they ask you questions about the evolution of man? Head to Seodaemun Museum of Natural History where they will learn all about it and much more.
The museum is organized around three main themes. The first floor runs under the theme ‘Harmony of Human and Nature in the Beautiful Seoul’ where the kids can learn about the importance of environmental preservation, the benefits from nature and the natural ecosystem of Korea. The second floor (‘The Birth and Evolution of Life and the Diversity of Living Creatures’) shows the origin of life, the world of the dinosaurs in the Mesozoic Era, the origin of humans, a diversity of land and marine life, and a variety of endangered species. On the 3rd floor, the kids can explore the Earth from the time of its birth to present day. They will learn about the planets in solar system and various types of dynamic geological phenomena including earthquakes and volcanoes.
Don’t forget to stop by the outside Dinosaur Park, watch the 3D movie in the Virtual Reality Room on the first floor and slide on the giant dinosaur slide.
