Mustoy Art Cafe! Have fun creating your own Muskky or Musppy

Do you know Muskky and Musppy? Meet them in Mustoy Cafe in Hongdae close to the Hongik University 😉

Mustoy Cafe, Hongdae Seoul

[Many thanks to Mustoy Cafe for supporting this review]

Mustoy Cafe is a wonderful, original and inspiring artistic spot well hidden in one of the small streets in Hongdae Area. You’ll find there two funny characters – the boy named Muskky (Mustoy + lucky) and the girl Musppy (Mustoy + happy).

If they look familiar to you don’t be surprised as both of them have been designed by the same artist who created the popular children’s cartoon character Pororo. They are in plain white ceramic and arrive in different sizes and shapes.

Pick up your favourite one or take the set and start to be creative! You’ll find everything you need in the cafe – cards for sketching, pencils, markers and if you need some inspiration, just have a look around you. Hundreds of decorated Mustoys are lining the walls making it a wonderful artistic collection.

Paul – the owner of the cafe is a TV commercial director and, as he knows many famous people, some fabulous Mustoys created by famous artists or actors are part of his collection.

Mustoy Cafe is a perfect place to bring your little artists or just to hang out there with your date or your friends and have some fun while being creative. As the characters are in ceramic and can break, this activity is recommended for kids starting from 7 years up.

When you are in Mustoy Cafe, you can choose from one of the options. You pick up your Mustoy, decorate it and bring it home or you decide to offer it to the Mustoy’s cafe collection 😉 For both options your drink is included in the price. If you don’t have time or inspiration, you can also just purchase one of the many take-out sets and bring them home or even order them on line @

Mustoy sets are as well very original gift ideas for your best friends!
