Boramae Park (보라매공원) is located in Shindaebang-dong, Dongjak-gu. Boramae Park is a former Air Force Academy site that has been transformed into a recreational park. The site is over 420,000 square meters and recreational facilities include a small zoo, a swimming pool and gymnasium, a playground, tennis courts, a 15-meter climbing wall, a skate park, ponds, gardens, and a 192-meter barefoot walk. From May to September, you can enjoy the beautiful Music Fountain Performance while picnicking on the grass.
The park is also noted as an attractive place to view cherry blossoms in the spring.
