One of the best kept secrets in Seoul, Sandulsori is a picturesque botanical garden with outstanding views at Bulamsan mountain, delicious organic Korean restaurant and a biking playground for kids to enjoy. Serenity and nature so close to the city center.
Last week-end we discovered one of the hidden natural jewel in Seoul. The Sandulsori Botanical Garden is just 30 minutes of drive from the city center but the view and the scenery you can have will definitely let you forget about the proximity of the city.
The Sandulsori Botanical Garden is a perfect gateway from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is composed of several theme gardens – alphabet garden, precious stone garden, little pond, waterfalls, caves and even nature hiking trail. Already from the parking lot you can enjoy the perfect scenery at the foot of Bulamsan mountain and once you are inside surrounded by the nature you definitely don’t feel like being in Seoul.
If you need some refreshment, you’ll find everything inside the garden. There is a coffee shop gallery, a tea house and a delicious restaurant serving the best korean home made organic food ever.
And last but not least – the wooden roof terrace on the coffee shop gallery is transformed all year long in bikes paradise where your children can borrow and test all types of bicycles and carts…. The best outdoor playground I’ve ever seen in Seoul and I’m sure you’ll kids will love it as did mine…
