Slopes for all levels from beginners to advanced skiers, big sledding slope and huge water park – Vivaldi park has it all
Vivaldi park is located in Yangpyeong area – about 1,5 hour of drive from Seoul. Surrounded by golfs and mountains, all the resort is very nice and quite pristine.
There are 13 slopes from very easy ones to medium level and even one red difficult slope and 10 lifts operating 24 hours a day. You can choose from a variety of packages ( skiing for all day, half a day or by portions of 4.5 hours from 8:30~13:00/10:30~15:00…)
If you need to rent your material you will see plenty of rental shops on your way in the valley but one of the most convenient options is to buy the lift+rental package directly in the resort. If you are fluent in Korean or have Korean friends who may help you, we strongly recommend to buy your package in advance on the web.
Your reservation must be done before 5pm on the day before you plan to go, then you can find deals up to 55% off the regular price. If you can’t book in advance you can still have discounts up to 30% with the main banks credit cards.
Even if the resort is very popular and can be crowded during week-ends and Korean school holidays, we’ve been impressed by the organization and efficiency at the rental, lift queuing area and food halls.
If you are not into skiing or are travelling with little kids, there is a long sledding slope to keep you busy and entertained. You can buy the ticket for sledding also online.
And for the water lovers don’t forget to check the Ocean World
