Thank you all for your interest, kind comments & support. Kidsfuninseoul will continue to offer you refreshing ideas of things to do with kids in Seoul!
Kidsfuninseoul is still a very small child… I started this blog on May 26, 2011 with the idea to share the discoveries and experience of our family life in South Korea. There were a number of websites available already – mostly providing formal information on attractions and sites of interests, such as the highly practical Infintely Yours, Seoul (Seoul Metropolitan Government), Visit Korea (Official Korea Tourism Organization), Visit Seoul (managed by Seoul Tourism Organization) or Korea 4 Expats, just to name a few. There are also countless personal blogs with a variety of topics from politics to photography through food…
All of them are great and actually a constant source of inspiration for us. However a few months after settling down in Seoul, I thought there might be the need for something focused on the hundreds of parks, gardens, day trips, splendid temples, museums, folk villages in and around Seoul – that would be both fun and useful for young families like ours.
I try to share our best pictures and practical information on new attractions just visited. My posts sometimes cover attractions particularly intended for young children. But I don’t want to forget the parents: therefore other posts provide information on trips to an island, a temple or a botanical garden. All things we have done and tested with our own two little ones aged 4 and 3.
Anyway I am blessed by the interest generated. In June, we broke a new record reaching an amazing… 5,730 page views. Wow! And the clock is now ticking to pass a cumulative 20,000 views since the blog inception!
Over time, I have now written posts on more than 60 fun things to do for families in Seoul. Don’t forget to visit the ones you may have missed through the menu selection in the header section.
Or if you want to get each update, feel free to follow our blog or our Facebook page.
I also welcome your feedbacks and suggestions of new kids-friendly activities not yet covered on Kidsfuninseoul. Please use the “Leave a reply” at the end of a post.
Enjoy the hot summer in Seoul before the monsoon arrives…
