Everland with young kids

Spend a day full of fun, music, rides, colors and joy in Korea’s most popular amusement park

Everland Korea Lost Valley

Located less than one hour of drive from Seoul, Everland is a favourite destination for couples, families, tourists and Korean residents. It follows the classic Disneyland formula creating a fantasy park full of attractions, thrill rides, roller coasters, zoo animals, beautiful gardens and parades.

We’ve been thrilled to see the recently opened “one-of-its-kind in the world” safari attraction – Lost Valley. It was an amazing experience for all the family to ride and float through wildlife zones in an amphibious vehicle and to enjoy close-up views at zebras, elephants, giraffes and lions. The Lost Valley is actually one of Everland’s most popular attractions, so be prepared to queue ;-). But it’s definitely worth it!

To prepare your trip in advance, you can check Everland website and follow one of the recommended courses. As we’ve been visiting with young children, we picked up most of the attractions from the suggested Children course. We had a fun journey with roller coasters, bumper cars, carousel, swings, ball house, animals and we finished our tour with the last show of Pororo 3D Adventure. One of the big advantages of visiting Everland with little ones is that compared to the thrilling rides,  you usually don’t have to queue for the kiddies attractions 😉

Tips to visit:

  • Start your visit at the opening time. If you can, try to avoid holidays and weekend’s afternoons.
  • Check out applicable discounts and coupons on website before going or ask for credit cards discount (Samsung Card)
  • Note that some attractions may be suspended due to weather conditions (temperatures below 0° C, rain and wind)
  • If you are tired of the leisure park and need some quiet walk in the nature, stop by the next-door Ho-Am Art Museum and its beautiful and peaceful traditional Korean Garden

Check Everland website for operation hours, transportation and tickets information.

The Halloween Festival is running until October 31.
