Are you looking for a special toy? Are you organizing a birthday party? Do you need some cool costume for the jungle day in your kids school? Are you looking for the Pororo notebook, Hello Kitty stickers or a push bike for your toddler?

So Dongdaemun market and the special Toys and stationery section is the right place to go!

Start your shopping at the very beginning of the “Toys street”. Go to Dongdaemun Station and take the Exit 4. Continue to walk on the main road. The Toys street will be the second street on your right.

If you go down the street, you will see very soon on your right hand a shop with orange sign. This huge shop is just a paradise for all the stationery you’ve ever imagined. Just have a look and I’m sure you will go out with a huge shopping bag filled with all kind of stuff. The choice is amazing and the prices are quite unbeatable.

Continue your walk down the way. On your left hand side, you will soon see a shop with masks hanging on the rope. This is the right place to choose your party decoration, buy balloons or choose a carnival costume.

Arriving to the first big crossroad, you will see on your right the Seungjuin Toys Store. This two-story shop looks like you can find there all the brands of toys you can imagine. 

If you are looking for a bike, just continue few meters down and you will come to the bicycle shop. They have a nice choice of products and it looks much cheaper then elsewhere.

Are you shopping with your kids? So maybe they will enjoy the short walk in the pet shops area. Turn right at the end of the toys street and go till the Cheonggye stream where you will turn right. Beside fish and parrots, you can find there duckies, rabbits, kittens, chicks, hedgehogs and other interesting pets.

If you are not tired yet, just continue at the end of the pet section to arrive to the shoes area. You can find some kids shoes at the very end of those vending halls.

Are you overwhelmed with the shopping now? So just cross the Stream and walk on the main street till the Dongdeamun History & Culture Park . There are some cool sculptures, Design Gallery, Cafe, Information Center and outdoor relic area.
