Tuscany in Korea: Beautiful landscape, farm animals and plenty of activities for everyone – all in a completely natural environment just 2 hours of drive from Seoul
If the monsoon season finally comes to a stop and you are looking for new ideas of trips out of town, I would definitely recommend spending a day at the Agroland Taeshinfarm.
Already approaching the farm, you will be immediately seduced by the natural beauty of the site. From the panoramic terrace – just outside the restaurant, you can admire the green hills all around. There are no cities, no cars, no buildings at sight. The view is so serene and so breathtaking, disturbed just by the donkey bray and cows’ moo;-)
You can spend hours and hours just walking around this wide farm-garden. For the delight of your children, you will of course find all the main farm animals in their natural environment. There are plenty of cows, goats, herd of sheep guarded by a lovely shepherd dog, ostriches, horses, donkeys, rabbits… More surprisingly some llamas and a camel.
The farmland serves as well as an open air art exhibition. So you will find many colorful statues of cows, hens but also a very original Pororo from recycled toys and other surprising and colorful pieces of art.
Walking past the meadows, you will reach a beautiful and charming pond overlooking rice paddies. It’s a nice and refreshing stopover just before heading to the amazing and very photogenic wooden Farm Playground.
For an extra fee, you can experience all kind of farm activities – calf milk feeding, cows milking, tractor riding, you can ride a horse or camel, try to make cheese or ice-cream and many others…
Just before leaving, don’t forget to stop by the giant cage full of colorful budgies. It’s a very funny and ticklish experience to feed tens of hungry birds walking on your arms;-)

- Ranch experience (calf feeding, milking, tractor ride) – 12,000 won
- *All other activities must be paid extra and some of them should be booked in advance (cheese and ice cream-making)
